Demonglass

After her first year at hex hall, Sophie Mercer discovers she has more power than she realized, and on top of things that she is a demon. After seeing her demon great grandmother Alice slaughter Elodie, Sophie decides she wants to go through the removal. In this book, Sophie is shipped off to England to be with her father and learn what it truly means to be a demon. She faces many obstacles in this book, one of which is her love for Archer and him being an Eye. The more she uncovers about being a demon, the closer she comes to finding out about a betrayal that runs rather deep. You will love this book! Sophies snarky personality continues to make me laugh.

Hex Hall

Witches, weres, shapshifters, and vampires.....Sophie Mercer finds herself in the confinds of Hecate Hall due to a love spell gone wrong. (which they refer to as a wenie spell) The students found at Hex Hall have all done something to earn entry there. Sophie however is an outcast among outcasts and all the people there she befriends the only vampire. Students start showing up half dead and drained of blood, bringing Jenna (the vampire) into question. Sophie does all she can to help defend her friend and finds out about her past and future in the process.
Her sarcastic fiery personality will keep you laughing. That along with the creepy factor make for a fun read!

Supernaturally

Bleep! This book I have to admit isn't as good as the first. Evie struggles with her need to suck souls in this book. She wants to live as normal of a life as possible, but finds herself going back to IPCA wanting to help the paranormals in her own way. She discovers that even though she has the power to take life away, it doesn't change who she is as a person.
Lend is in college in this book and still part of Evies life. The book ends on a good note, and there are few issues that could be further expounded, but the series could end there and be fine.

The Sookie Stackhouse Series

I am reading the Sookie Stackhouse series. I know most of you might know the series on HBO called Trueblood. Well this series is based off of the books I am reading. I am on book 8, I believe. It is such an intense series...each book has a new crazy event happening in the "supe" world. First was the Fellowship of the Sun craziness...this is a church that is anti-vampire and anti-vampire friends...then they add more like, werepanthers or weretigers. If you want a great long series or story to follow and love the Trueblood show, these would be great books for you! They are easy reads, too. I read it while I am falling asleep and can still understand what is going on the next day!

Hunger Games

Just finished the series today. I really liked it. I could feel the joys, sorrows, confusion and doubts of Katniss. Can't wait for the upcoming movies.

Deadly Little Voices

This is the fourth book in the touch series. In this newest addition we find out that Camelia and Ben are no longer together. Sad day :( also Camelias psychometry powers are getting stronger not only can she perdict the future while she is making pottery but now she is hearing voices and seeing visions. Will Camelias powers drive her over the edge into crazy town? Or will she be able to us them to help a friend out? Read this series it may be short but each book has a good story line. It always kept me entertained, I couldnt put the book down till the very end.

If I Die

OMG!! Nail bitter for sure. This book is by far my favorite hands down. In this last book you find out that Kaylees name has ended up on the reapers list and she is destined to die in seven days. When I first started reading this I thought ok they are just going to have to find a way to save her soul. Then by the time it was ending I wanted her to die which is a weird thing to think I know but if you have read this series you know the reasoning to my thinking. Yet again cant say more without giving more of the book away your just going to have to take my advice and read the series! Trust me you will enjoy it.

Reaper

This Novella is awesome, I love Todds character. In the first book My Soul to Take, You meet Todd the Reaper. If you havent Read My Soul to Take yet, Then you are behind the times! But I will give you the jist of it. Todd is Nash's older dead brother and although in the first novel he comes across as alittle creepy, you come to love all his quirks in the books that follow. In the reaper it talks about the day that Todd died. It was nice to read this short story it put alot more depth to Todds character.

My Soul to Steal

Sabine. One word S*&%. Awful I know. An ex of Nash's shows up after Kaylee and Nash decide to take a break, I think that Nash and Sabine deserve eachother but Kaylee is sure she still loves Nash, the entire book you cant decide whether Sabine is bad or just annoying. Read and decide for yourselfs! I want to say more on this book but I fear of giving to much away. Still an amazing series!!!

My Soul to Keep

I take back my last comment about loving the Nash and Kaylee duo! At first I thought oh they are adorable but then I read My Soul to Keep, I loved the book and I still enjoy the main characters but without giving to much away I cannot say why I dislike Nash so much in this one even though part of the reason he is the way he is, is because of Kaylee. I cannot say much more for fear of giving anything away in this book. Still a must read!!!

My Soul to Save

Just Like the first in this series it kicks off from the start and doesn't stop. It keeps you guessing whats going to happen till the very end. I love the Kaylee and Nash duo in this book, he will do anything for her and she will pretty much do anything for anyone :) its like they both have a hero complex. I would recommend this book to any one who enjoys reading romance novels, This book is entertaining and oozing with scintilating moments.

Paranormalcy

Evie longs to just be normal 16 year old girl despite the fact that she tasers and arrests paranormals. Never knowing her real parents and moving through foster homes, her work is all she has in life. This becomes interupted with the break in of a paranormal named Lend, and random killings of paranormals. Evie is determined to have her chance at life but the information she finds out about herself the further she is from who she wants to be.
Overall I would say this book is a very good read, clean humor, and no inappropriate language. I can't wait to read the next book in the series.

My Soul to Take

In My Soul to Take Kaylee finds out that she is a Bean sidhe also known as a Banshee. First off let me just say that everytime I read the word Bean sidhe in this book I had to giggle, I never knew there were different types of sidhe's let alone some that were bean! This Book Kicks off right from the start and doesnt stop untill the last sentence of the book. Its a well thought out plot with characters that you love right from the start. Its a must read cant wait to start the second book My sould to save. :)

The Help

Finally finished The Help! Now I know why it is highly recommend. The characters are moving, and they make you laugh and cry with them. From Aibileen's wisdom, grace, and courage, to Minny's sassy mouth, endurance, and the way she takes revenge on Miss Hilly keeps you interested. I admire Miss Skeeter's big heart, steadfastness, and bravery to pursure her dreams even though it gets her blacklisted. It was a change from what I usually read and I enjoyed it thoroughly.

WIther

Wither! What can I say about Wither. The book starts out with Rhine a sixteen year old girl awaiting her fate to be either sold into prostitution, made into a bride or murdered. First thought on the book is that this has the pontential to be very interesting. After reading a couple chapters in you find that she has been sold to become a bride and that every female only lives to the age of twenty and all males live to twenty five. Now dont get me wrong this is a decent book but I think she could have fit all three books in one seeing as how nothing really happens in the first one. Rhine and her sister wives learn to live with eachother and the situation they are in, and learn to at least pretend to love their husband. Rhine meets a slave boy around her same age and they escape together. There was so much built up suspense but no real resolution. Sorry spoiler but honestly kind of predictable.

The Year of Secret Assignements

The Year of Secret Assignments is a quick and fun read. I will say that if you have a group of friends that enjoy reading that you should read this together. It is silly and witty, Mainly meant for a younger audience it is still a feel good book.

Starcrossed By Josephine Angelini

What a great book!! I think this is definitely one of my favorites now. I love it more than Twilight! :) I am dying to know when the next book in the series is going to come out. I tried finding it out but can't, so if anyone knows please let me know!! This isn't just a "love" story, it has action in it and mystery and twists all around! It's a nice break in the fantasy books...it's Greek mythology which can be more interesting than vampires, werewolves, etc. Even though I will still read those types as well :)

The tale of the twisted pixies continues. Zara finally unleashes some built up rage taking out a few pixies. She is pixie kissed and becomes Astley's queen. I love his character! Nick is lost to the Valhalla, and the pixies are on are out for revenge on Zara and her friends. You'll enjoy this next chapter in the need series.

The Mortal Instruments by Cassandra Clare

I just finished reading The Mortal Instruments Books 1-4. I have heard that she is due to have 2 more books come out in the series and I am excited for them. City of Bones was a little bit crazy at first because it feels like there is so much going on, but I believe that is her style of reading and by the end I was well informed and ready for the next, City of Ashes. City of Ashes, the humor was wonderful. Usually I don't read books and laugh out loud, but this one I did! City of Glass let me feel like the series was wrapped up pretty good and I wasn't expecting too much from City of Fallen Angels, but City of Fallen Angels focuses more on Simon and has a crazy cliffhanger for an ending! If you are a big reader of Fantasy and nephilium, angels, demons, werewolves, vampires, etc. This series has it all!!

Need more

"Need" is darker novel than previous fae books I've read, but I did like it. I felt like it took a bit to get going but once it did the rest of the story made up for that. The timeline it seems is about the spand of a week or two. It is a quick read, and makes you feel like your reading a Stephen King novel. If you like books about twisted pixies mixed with shifters, than this is the read for you.

Silence is golden

Just finished Silence! Such a good read....if you have not read the hush hush series, do yourself a favor and read them. You'll love the enigmatic and scintillating character Patch. If you have read it let me know what you thought.
