Oh how I missed snarky Sophie Mercer. This book had me mesmerized. I could not put it down. Thank you Rachel Hawkins for delivering another fantastic read!
Sophie uncovers the secrets of her past, and allies up with some surprising people. All the old gang returns, with the introduction of some new members, in a race to stop Lara Casnoff from unleashing her demon army. Ok lets just get this straight, Lara is just evil.
Even with her powers locked away inside her, Sophie manages to be resourceful and brave. She is chalked full of humor and derisive comments, and she had me laughing several times over.
What a great ending to a fun series!
